This is the 5th year for this fun event which started as an Eagle Scout Project. Jared earned his Eagle but the JCC wanted the event to continue so he still serves as the race director. Race is a few weeks later this year since Jared is now in college and has to finish exams!
This is a USAT sanctioned event. Children ages 5-15 will have the opportunity to participate in this aquathlon. Children ages 5-10 will swim 100m and then run 1/2 mile. Children aged 11-15 will swim 200m and then run 1 mile. All participants will receive a tech t-shirt and a finisher’s medal.
The top 5 boy and girl in each age group will be given awards. The age groups are as follows: 8 & under, 9-10, 11-12, and 13-15.
